Wipe the ceiling and mount with rubbing alcohol and let dry.
Attach the provided removable tape to the mount.
Center the mount around your light and press firmly onto the ceiling.
Insert the Shade ring and attach it to the magnets.

I love our new Tulip shade. The installation is so smart and easy: basically command strip the base to the ceiling - or use the included hardware - and fit the lamp shade to the base. Magnets (not visible) keep the base connected to the shade.
Not only does this cover up the “boob lamps” in our apartment, but it also completely changes the color tone of the room. During daylight it looks like the lamp shade is glowing (see picture), and at night it casts the room in a cozy pink.
I’m getting two more for the other boob lamps in our home. Such a simple way to make a big difference!
One thing to note: these are an investment at over $100 a piece. I always believe in investing more upfront for a long-lasting high quality piece, so, assuming these hold up for many years to come, I’m not upset about the price tag.

We absolutely love this addition to cover our boob lights . A very simple installation. Love that we can switch the shades from room to room with the magnetic feature.
